Styled Shoot | June 30th, 2017

So I put together my first Styled Shoot on June 30th after a few months of organizing it and inspiration from my Shutterfest class by Jewels Gray (Denver, CO) https://jewelsgray.com I worked with a handful of lovely people and am so excited with how it turned out and thanks to everyone who was apart of it. I was watching the weather like a hawk because it was supposed to storm and then rain on and off… but Mother Nature ended up being on my side and the rain stopped by early afternoon so we could shoot in the early evening.

Bridal Aisle in Osseo, MN is fantastic and I rented a gorgeous, unique, high-low bridal gown from them. Brides – you must go here when purchasing a dress – their staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. On top of that, they have an extensive amount of brand new dresses at discounted prices – amaze! My model, Marilyn, is a beautiful person inside and out and this dress fit her like a glove and we knew it was the perfect one for this. She rocked it in that dress and was so fun to work with.

My make-up artist, Taylor, brought her energy to the shoot and applied a beautiful bridal application on Marilyn. She executed just the look I was looking for and it looked fabulous – thanks Taylor!

I also had a very talented jewelry designer, Norah, come to the shoot with pieces she had made specifically for this this. We had a hard time choosing between the gold and the brass because they both worked so well for the styled shoot. She had delicate beading and lace – my weakness – so pretty!! They looked so good with the dress and makeup.

The role of our Groom went to my handsome husband and assistant, Nathan. It’s always nice to see him in a suit ( gush ). It was such a fun night and I truly thank you all, Marilyn, Norah, Taylor, Nathan and Bridal Aisle for pulling this shoot off. Below are some of my favorite pictures from the styled shoot.
