Brainerd, Minnesota
If you’re looking for a unique and stunning wedding venue in Minnesota, Northern Pacific Center is that and more. When I first arrived at the NPC, I was blow away by every part of the spaces. From the large and clean getting ready spaces, to the historic brick of Blacksmith Main and the incredibly stunning open space of Two South with its historic old railroad track. I literally said to myself that I wished I wouldv’e gotten married here.

Getting Ready
The Le Lier suite is the most spacious suite with white clean wood beams, wood and walls. It’s truly a photographer’s dream for getting ready space. The suite also has a connected bathroom and additional space for lounging, a large table for any preparations and of course the stylist chairs with mirrors and plenty of outlets.

Additonally, the Lincoln Lounge has the same clean aesthetic with ample space and games for the extra downtime that the groom and his wedding party usually has.

Outdoor Space
Another photographer’s dream- all of the spaces for portraits outside. Brick walls, antique glass, vintage doors, and more. There are plenty of choices for backdrops for portraits of you and your wedding party and family. I like to utilize a few different spots for backgrounds when it comes to family and wedding party photos so you have a variety for your album. It highlights the space of Northern Pacific Center while giving you a variety for your portraits.

Ceremony in Two South
The grand building that was once a historic machine shop for the Northern Pacific Railroad. Imagine walking down the aisle on the history of what used to be a live train track. Surrounded by brick walls, steel pillars, tall windows and lighted chandeliers, this giant room will leave your guests stunned in the best way possible. The grandness and historic beauty is unlike any other venue in the state of Minnesota.

Social Hour and Reception in Blacksmith Main
Blacksmith Main at Northern Pacific Center held both the social hour and the dinner reception in the same space. Guests can enjoy appetizers from their in-house catering and drinks were served up fast at the bar.

Golden Hour at Northern Pacific Center
I have no words… this light never gets old. The sun sets on the entrance road side for the perfect backdrop of that glow golden light.

Dance Reception in Blacksmith Main
Guests gather round to watch the first dance among the chandeliers and string lights. Romantic vibes is an understatement. After that get ready for the dance party. Having a great DJ to get everyone on the dance floor is key to getting these fun dance photos. This is such a fun ending for me as a photographer. I stay for about 20-30 minutes of the dance to get these fun shots!
