Alecia and Drew | Columbus MN Wedding

I had the honor of shooting Alecia and Drew’s wedding on July 27th, 2019. I’ve gotten to know Alecia and Drew the past couple of years through my husband and now also consider them my friends. They both fit together so well and compliment each others qualities. They share bonds over motorcycles and music and of course their lovely daughters. Their first date was in July and Drew also proposed in July. So of course July is a special month for them and made for a perfect month to get hitched! Their wedding was full of love, chandeliers and motorcycles. (of course)

Friends flew in from all over the country to celebrate in a beautiful and intimate wedding in their backyard in Columbus, MN.
Before the first look, Alecia and Drew chose to exchange letters. They read them back to back before seeing each other that day. This is one of my absolute favorite parts of the wedding day. We took some portraits in the backyard with them, the wedding party and family before the ceremony. The wedding was officiated by Drew’s best man, Scott and they had a big wedding party which included their daughters, friends and family. Dinner was served up by Dickey’s BBQ and then the party started on the dance floor after the special first dances. One other special moment that was a surprise at their wedding, was that Alecia came out for the dance wearing her mother’s wedding dress! She really surprised her mom and everybody else at the reception – what a beautiful thing to do girl, loved it. Below are some of my favorites from the day!
